Short answer:
Obama will pick Joe Biden because he needs 1) an old white guy who 2) has some foreign policy credentials.
Although one must always wonder which words of Biden's are his own, that's no different from when we hear Obama speak...they're both successful plagiarists. But it's "just words", after all... And separately from having that in common, Biden has done quite a good job defending Obama on the Sunday morning talk shows.
Still a small chance that he'll pick Bayh or Kaine (or maybe someone else from Virginia) to try to carry those states, but those guys just aren't wrinkeled enough.
No way he'll pick Hillary.
Beyond betting who Obama will pick, we should have a pool as to how many votes Hillary will get at the convention!
